It’s ok to change your mind.

I think we often forget sometimes that we’re allowed to change our minds. That’s the whole point of advancing and growing as humans. We’re able to adapt, but also develop and learn. No matter the ideals we’re accustomed to as children or what we’re taught, how we think or feel we believe…it’s ok to have a change of heart and mind as we get older, see the world, hear a different side, understand the truth of a reality. We can drown in our own stubborn thoughts and think we’re standing firm on a belief that’s not really what we thought it to be. That’s ok. That’s life. It’s meant to be examined and questioned…we’re not always meant to be shrouded and hidden from necessary truths. It’s human nature to wonder and when you stop wondering or thinking you stop progressing. (It’s ok to change your mind…and change it again….I’d be worried if you didn’t.)

  1. That’s something that I think I’ve struggled the most with in this past year. In relationships, in school, in my career goals, I’ve been trying to fight off my change of heart because change is scary and change means upsetting what is the perceived ‘balance’ of things. I’ve also struggled with the fact that I have to accept that others can change their mind too, even if it doesn’t mean the best outcome for me. Thanks for the read, enjoyed it πŸ™‚

    1. If change didn’t occur then other beautiful things might not take place. There’s always a time and a place for change in our own minds…but life has other plans. πŸ™‚ Maybe it’s life’s way of removing things that aren’t good for you or are working in your favor. Even if you can’t see it at the moment. ❀
